SUCQ Stand up Comedy Qatar Show
Mina and Ali recently headlined a fantastic stand up comedy show in Doha! The crowd was great and the laughs were plenty! Ali also performed at two private corporate events while in Qatar to over 3,000 guests.

Dubomedy International Performing Arts Festival 2011
Over the course of four days, Wednesday, November 30th – Saturday, December 3th, Dubomedy and VIVA Arts will be throwing the country's second annual Performing Arts Festival. Through this festival, envisioned as an interdisciplinary platform for performing artists, Dubomedy Arts aims to provide opportunities for both amateurs and professionals to hone their craft through workshops and panels during the morning while performing original content for a local audience in the matinee and evening shows. This year's festival has already picked up from its launch last year and will be a host of 12 shows that will feature over 200 performers and will attract an audience of 10,000. Mina & Ali travel to New York for ‘The Hickok Belt’.
Mina and Ali travel to New York to perform comedy as part of the comeback dinner and ceremony of the prestigious sports award ‘The Hickok Belt’. Legendery athletes including ‘Bullet’ Bob Turley of the Yankees, Johnny Antonelli of the Giants, Meadowlark Lemon of the Harlem Globetrotters, Boxing Champions Carmen Basilio and George Chuvalo all attended to celebrate this historical rebirth! Mina and Ali were deeply honored to have been a part of this event and look forward to performing next year in the first Hickok Belt Awards Ceremony.

Young at Heart Tour
Mina launched her “Young at Heart Tour” in New York this past summer in order to bring love and light to everyday people. She made surprise public appearances as her character “Audrey Heartburn” as well as interviewed a ton of ‘home town heros’.

The Hilarious Show
Mina Liccione hosted the 3 day comedy festival 'The Hilarious Show' at the Palladium. Alongside international comedians Matt Kirshen, Amy Schumer, Dwayne Perkins, Kirk Fox and Tommy Davidson. Our very own Ali Al Sayed also performed alongside these comics representing and providing some local Dubai flavour, to this huge line-up. The hysterical crowds, throughout these 3 days made it an event to remember.
Stand-Up Expat World Tour
Mina and Ali are excited to be performing as part of the Stand Up Expat World Tour in Abu Dhabi on June 9 & 11, Dubai on June 12 and Ras Al Khaimah on June 14. Not only will they be great shows but they are for a great cause! Proceeds benefit the United Nations' 'We Feed Back' Campaign to help aid world hunger.

Two months of non-stop laughs and 12 shows at rotating venues around the UAE from May 16-July 4, 2011. You can catch 15 Dubomedians as well as Mina headlining 'Funny Girls- Season 2' and Ali headlining 'Boys Night Out'.

Who all have heard about the 'Cadbury & Dubomedy present Academy of Joy' GGC tour? As of the month of May, Dubomedy will be travelling to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman & Qatar; conducting comedy workshops to promote Comedy in the region. Along with the workshops; there will be stand-up comedy shows with headliners Ali Al Sayed and Mina Liccione. The stand-up comedy show will also feature some of Dubomedy's comedians, Omar Ismail and Brent Jenkins.

International & Local Comedians rocked the show for Dubomedy's 3rd birthday
April 1st, Dubomedy celebrated it's third Anniversary, with a huge bang. With international names like Dean Edwards & Remy - the creator of 'Saudis in Audis'; this was a laughter filled night to remember. Produced by our very own local boy 'Ali Al Sayed', we wanted to give back to the community for being a part of growth and helping us in developing the local arts scene together. Awards were handed to fellow members as a recognition for their work and efforts in the arts community. 'Keepin' it Real' awards were presented to 'Johnny Miller' for his efforts with the Senses Center for Children with special needs and Dubai Autism Center; DUCTAC (Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre) Director 'Millie Tsai' and the entire staff for helping to build and manage a place where the community can get together and create art. 'DJ Lobito' was also awarded for being the Middle East representative of Zulu Nation, a long standing hip hop institution that promotes unity through urban arts; 'Sharmila Kamte' was awarded for hard work and dedication to building the local youth dance scene through education and performance.
OSN Comedy Search! Auditions were open earlier on in the day for Ali Al Sayed's new TV show currently under production. A bunch of aspiring comedians and other acts took to the spotlight to see if they had what it takes to make the judges laugh.
After the awards ceremony and as the show started, the crowd was taken back by an unexpected performance; choreographed by our Artistic Director Mina Liccione. Motown was back to enthrall the audience, with a performance to remember. Mina did a quick change back stage and returned full force to open the show with a rocking comedy set tackling current events and playing with the crowd. She introduced Dubomedy graduates Omar Ismail and Simone Heng of Virgin Radio Dubai, who proved their mettle leaving the audience in hysterics. All this in front our graffiti back wall, Ali Al Sayed did what he does best - leaves your heart pounding with laughter. The number of funny situations and accents, bundled up with huge doses of humor, Ali Al Sayed rocked it.
The moment was set as Mina called on stage our first International act - Remy! Walking with his guitar to perform some of his famous hits like, A-R-A-B: The Rap, Hey There Khalilah, Tabbouleh Song and many others. Remy also performed an exclusive new song titled 'Tony Chalhoub' during the show. Finally the headliner for the evening, Dean Edwards, performing for the first time in Dubai, made it a memorable night to remember. The house was on fire, as Dean's impressions of MJ, Jay-Z and various other artists was hysterical. His energy never dipped throughout his thirty minute set and when he concluded with his Denzel Washington impersonation the audience was sad to see him go!
Bouncing back on stage in a Kandura, Remy ended the show with his infamous rap - Saudis in Audis, with break dancers and BBoys. The show started with a bang so it only made sense to end with one! Mina then called all of the performers back on stage as the audience gave them a standing ovation! Dubomedy then gave the community one last present, a meet and greet and signing with all of the comedians. As they sat in the DUCTAC lobby tons of audience members flocked to get their chance to chat, take photos and make memories with the comedians.

We would like to express our thanks for all those that came down to support the arts community. With the first Student show of the year, we would like to wish all our students that performed; most for the first time 'Congratulations! You made it!". The energy, the laughter and the love was amazing.
We would like to extend our apologies to those that couldn't get in, as it was a House full. To avoid this from ever happening again we are proud to announce that we will be adding a 2nd Free Student Show at the end of every session from here on out.
